Our love story
First meet
Younger YearsRyan and Jessica grew up together in church. They have known each other since the age of 7, but really didn’t get close until sitting next to each other in an economics class in 11th grade.
First date
Summer 2011After talking throughout the summer, Ryan asked Jessica out on their first date to Fine Arts in their freshman year of college. With a dozen red roses in his hand, he picked her up for their date. His plan was to ask her to be his girlfriend while they sat on “their bench.” Because of the rain, Jessica did not want to sit on “their bench” at the time, so Ryan decided to ask her right there in the street surrounded by all of their friends.
Proposal
Spring 2018Ryan and Jessica planned a trip with their friends Alyssa and Jordan. Unbeknownst to Jessica, Ryan planned a “proposal” carriage ride through Central Park. The scenery was beautiful! The carriage took them to a fountain by the water where Ryan had a professional photographer waiting to take their pictures. It was there, at the “Bow Bridge,” where Ryan got down on one knee and proposed to her.
